At Gift Basket Ideas Etc.com, all shipments within the contiguous USA use UPS Ground. Generally, ground orders placed with us will leave our warehouse within one business day. Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, an order will take up to three days to ship. If this happens we will be sure to contact you and let you know when your item will ship. All orders placed with 3 Day, 2 Day or Next day air shipping by 12:00 noon EST ship the same day. Air orders placed after 12:00 noon EST ship the next business day. Ground orders placed Saturday and Sunday will ship Monday or Tuesday. Generally we will ship all orders via UPS. We reserve the right to use any carrier.

Saturday Delivery Saturday delivery is available only by shipping next day air on Friday and requesting Saturday delivery in the shipping comments. Standard air options deliver Monday thru Friday only. Saturday delivery is the cost of Next Day air service PLUS an additional $15.50 and again is by special request only. We do not offer 2nd day air Saturday delivery service except under special promotions and offers.

Hospital and School Deliveries

Please note that we cannot guarantee that your gift will be delivered on your desired date if you are sending it to a hospital or school. Those institutions have there own systems for handling incoming packages and your gift may be held in a mail room or shipping room by school or hospital staff for some time before it is delivered to the patient or student. Gift Basket Ideas Etc.com will not refund any order to a school or hospital for any reason beyond our control.

Alaska and Hawaii - Please add $15.50 to the standard ground prices for ground shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.(Excluding Fruit, and Cookies) Please add $24.50 to the Next Day air prices for expedited shipping to Alaska & Hawaii. (Excluding Fruit and Cookies)

All AE, AA, AP, FPO, PO Boxes, Canada ship via the USPS. Fruit and Cookies are not available for shipping to PO boxes, FPO, APO, or Canadian shipments. Standard shipping and delivery days are Monday-Friday. Not all gifts are available to ship to APO and FPO destinations and we do not offer claim service of any kind. You ship these gifts at your own risk. Also, please remember all USPS shipments do take 1-2 extra days to ship out.

Saturday Delivery Next Day Air is available upon request for an additional fee of $15.50.

International Shipping

Unfortunately, we do not offer international shipping at this time except for Canada.

Damages & Exchanges

Your satisfaction is our top priority. We sell only the finest quality products from reputable manufacturers, so we rarely have problems with any of our products. But if your item is damaged or defective in some way, we'll make sure you are serviced. All damage claims, discrepancies and late delivery claims must be made within 3 business days of the gift being received. There will be NO exceptions to this policy.

If a gift arrives damaged or there is a discrepancy Gift Basket Ideas Etc.com will make every effort to resolve the issue in a timely manner and to your satisfaction. Credits and or refunds will be at the sole discretion of Gift Basket Ideas Etc.com and will only be issued if damaged gifts or discrepancies can be verified by the carrier. If you disposes of the gift before we can verify the damages/discrepancy we will not issue any refund. All claims must be issued in writing by fax or e-mail. Claims will not be accepted via the phone.

If for any reason the recipient or purchaser is unhappy with a gift they may certainly return it.

•If the gift is simply not wanted or the customer is not satisfied they may ship it back to us at their own expense and receive a partial and in some cases a full refund. The refund is based on the gifts perishability and condition upon being returned. The gift must be unopened and untampered with.

•If the gift is damaged or we have made an error, we will call tag the original gift and either ship a new one or refund the gift in full. However, if we can not call tag the gift, no refund or credit will be offered. Retrieving the gift is the only way we have of verifying the damages and placing a claim with UPS.
